VINTAGE RESTORED 18" COMPOSITION PATSY? w/CURL RAISED FOR RIBBON, I just got an email from one of the doll clubs that helps to identify your doll. They said it more than likely is not a Patsy but a Mama doll and the era is around 1920.  it looks like her head was not restored, it looks original to me, it has a curl that is raised for the ribbon in her hair.Her arms and legs have been painted and looks great, you can see where the damage was if you look closely. Her clothes may or may not be original but they are from the era. She wears a little blue and pink dress and a full slip both made out of soft thin cotton,a pink ribbon in her hair, she has long panties on which are newly made, her shoes and socks I don't believe are original. Her body is cloth and has some stain and aged brown spots. She has one place on her leg that could use some attention, her crier does not work, But she is still beautiful especially to those of us who grew up loving her. I have found no markings on her I describe everything to the best of my ability but in no way consider myself an expert so my opinion may not be the same as yours.These are sold as is no returns.Please look at photos and read the description carefully.
